Stockard SKU: GR-010900-0000 Select finish / insert black / gunsmoke black / burl wood gunsmoke / burl wood gunsmoke / black Product Overview: The premium YFLY reel seat represents an innovative design in fly reel seats combining futuristic styling and the traditional concept of an aluminum skeleton combined with a wood or aluminum insert (body). Many rod manufacturers are featuring these types of reel seats on their new rod models. Choose from an aluminum skeleton finish in satin black or shiney gunsmoke, and from inserts in contrasting burl wood or aluminum with a laser–etched Forecast fish logo. Comes assembled, and includes a matching trim ring and aluminum end cap. Other Details: The reel seat length measures 4.07″ (103.5 mm) and the inside diameter is 0.420″ (10.67 mm) with a wood insert or 0.550″ (140 mm) with an aluminum insert. The front pocket has an outside diameter of 0.865″ (21.97 mm); when choosing a cork grip, select inletting with 0.865″ diameter. The shade of burl wood inserts may vary from light to dark. Those on shipments we have received recently have been like the darker of the 2 wood inserts shown in the photo at left. The lines and unique construction allowed for easy assembly of the rod and aligment of the guides. It seems lighter in weight than the traditional wood reel seats and looks great.
