From the matching rounded edges of the recessed hood, knurled lock nut and end cap, to the crisp ornamental groove on the slide, the design shows attention to detail. Choose from an aluminum skeleton finish in satin black, shiney gunsmoke or gold, and from stabilized wood laminate inserts in ebony, rosewood, or walnut. The wood inserts have a groove for the reel feet. The reel seat length measures 3.975″ (101 mm) and the inside diameter is 0.445″ (11.3 mm). Comes unassembled, and includes matching aluminum end cap. They were cheap blanks, but after the entire rod was assembled it look like a high-end rod. These reel seats are brilliant value for money, are good quality and are finished great. I liked the "sunken" insert...as it can take a larger reel foot with ease, and really locks the reel onto the seat securely.
