It has the perfect shape and size to comfortably fill the palm without feeling chunky or spindly. I use it on all the flyrods I build for my own use (with the J.S. A7 all-aluminum seat) and as the basic set-up for small-midweight customer rods. The quality of the cork and fit-everyone shape are fitting of a much higher price.
