Product Overview:
John designed this steelhead pattern for rivers that are inhabited by the large Hexagenia limbata mayfly. This is a great mid to late Spring pattern for steelies and is also very effective in late June for trout when the big mayflies hatch. The steelhead version is available with natural, chartreuse, orange, or salmon colored tails. Tied on a Tiemco 700 hook, size 8 (steelhead) or a Tiemco 5263 barbless, size 6 (trout) hook.
