The Peacock Chironomid was designed to imitate midge pupas near emergance. Prior to emerging, many species of midges build up gases in the shuck giving the insect a glassy appearance. You can use this fly under an indicator, or as a point fly on a team. Perfect for trout, whitefish, grayling and panfish
