MacEachern > FM-414040-0000 Product Details Holographic Chironomid by: Darren MacEachern SKU: FM-414040-0000 Select colors bloodworm green bloodworm red mixed colors Product Overview: The Holographic Chironomid was designed to mimic the larval stage of Chironomids, or as they are more commonly known, Bloodworms. Blood worms are found near the bottom of lakes and ponds, and so, the fly is lightly weighted with a bead head. Bloodworms may be green or red, and range in size from 1/8″ to ¾″ in length. To fish these flies, use a strike indicator and hang the fly a few inches off the bottom. Use a very slow retrieve that moves the fly through the water slowly.
