Product Overview:
The Silkworm Chironomid was created to imitate pre emergent Midges. Prior to emerging, many species of midges build up gases in the shuck giving the insect a glassy light colored appearance. The fly is made from a glow in the dark material that increases the visibility of the fly in dark or stained water. The fly has been quite successful and has been responsible for catching Arctic Grayling, Brook trout, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Bull Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Chub, Whitefish, Yellow Perch, Bluegills, Black Crappie and Pumpkinseeds.
