Just look at this one from underneath (fish–eye level) and you’ll see why the fish can’t lay off of them. They simply are very buggy looking. They are simple, lay in the film just like a natural and are easy to see for fish and fishermen. Most of all these have become a favorite mid–morning snack for everything from large brown trout to perch. These flies have been responsible for some of the best outings fishermen have had in years. Try them in all styles, Adams, Green Drake, PMD and Segmented. The wide gap hook also helps tremendously in hooking fish. Unless you don’t like to catch fish, you’ll want several in your fly box.
