This streamer draws vicious strikes from both males and hens as spawning steelhead are particularly aggressive towards any creature venturing too close to the redd. The hackle is reinforced with a wire rib to add to the durability of the fly and the head is constructed of the same McFly foam used in Dave’s Glo Bugs.
