It can be fished as a traditional wet fly, quartering your cast upstream and permitting a full drift, or it can fished close to the bottom in a similar style to fishing a nymphal imitation of the insect. When fishing as a nymph, slightly weight your line and permit the fly to work in the substrate just above the river’s bottom.
