5 out of 5 stars Worth 2X the price! 09/01/2009
Reviewer: A viewer from Saskatchewan, Canada
When I first heard about this (annual) magazine I was pretty skeptical because I'd never heard of most of the people involved in its production. I assumed it would suck at first and hopefully improve over time. I was dead wrong! 'Hatches' is a must have for every fly tyer. In any one issue the articles cover a diversity of topics You may not be interested in every article but you'll certainly get more than your money's worth! As a rule the articles are well-written with lots of photographs. And it is *so* refreshing to read a magazine that is mostly content instead of mostly advertising.

This really is a must have. There is so much information packed into this. I have read it and reread it and still want to pick it up and look through it again. Very nice large clear pictures that will help every fly tier no matter what kind of practice you have. I will continue to buy every new eddition.

5 out of 5 stars I'm wearing the pages on this magazine 00/00/0000
Reviewer: Ron Hewitt (toolrprs@vaxxine.com) from Grimsby, ON CA
This is a high quality magazine. As I said in the title for this review, I'm wearing some of the pages from constantly reading and re-reading the articles. There is something for the novice or experienced tyer in this magazine. The format is great also; you can start an article and read to the end without jumping to the end pages. You want regret purchasing.
