With its advanced high-modulus graphite, these 4–piece SC III travel blanks deliver maximum durability and sensitivity. They are the same blanks used in St. Croix Avid Series® production rods. Though not as fast as the SC IV, these SC III’s create a rod with superb power and a smooth, light feel in the hand. They are the same blanks used in St. Croix Avid Series rods. Moderate–fast action. A few blanks with the gray matte finish are still available; newer blanks have a metallic sage green finish. The 9 and 10 wt. blanks are special order items; allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
