Berglund (moobear@netzero.com) from Rockford, IL US The Batson Rainshadow flyrods in 2 or 4 piece are simply stunning. They have a wonderfully progressive taper and smooth actions that make them a joy to cast and handle. I like them far better than the premium blanks I've used. You can overline them by a size and they don't fold up - they just punch line out even harder. With a choice between matte and Olympic green in many sizes, you can make a stealthy rod or a beautiful prom queen and each will deliver on the water. These blanks are also lighter and better fitting than some "premium" blanks I've used. Compare the performance of these blanks and add in the top notch customer service from both J.Stockard and Batson. Some other blank co's won't even return an email.
