Rick Schlarb

Rick Schlarb has been tying for over 15 years. He fishes 100+ days most years and specializes in small flies, size 18 and down to 26. Living in Pennsylvania, he fishes a heavily pressured tailwater, a wild trout stream that runs through the center of his town. He also manages a pond for his local sportsmen’s club. So much time on the water gives him a chance to field test a lot of flies – midges, caddis and tricos are his ‘bread and butter’, but his favorites are whatever is working at the moment.
