Mike Giavedoni

Mike’s been tying flies for 10 years. He started fishing as a kid with his dad and soon started fishing with friends, traveling by bus to his favorite fishing spots. That started a long journey to some of the best fishing outings ever. He started out fishing with flies on spinning gear and eventually moved to fly fishing. That’s when fly tying became a passion. Mike initially learned fly tying from a friend, Steve. But he moved onto books, videos, fishing seminars and the internet, all of which helped him to tie better flies, some of which have been published in fly tying magazines. Mike’s flies have caught fish all over both Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. He is sure they will work for you. As Mike says, "Give them a shot, you may be pleasantly surprised."
