Dave Brady

Dave Brady lives and fly fishes near the mouth of the Merrimac River in Massachusetts and has been tying for over 2 years. While mainly fishing the flats at the mouth, Dave has recently been working into the marsh areas along the creeks and the Plum Island River. He enjoys tying saltwater streamers, deceivers, clousers and half and halfs, and has begun to venture into top water fly tying with bangers and gurglers. Yak has quickly become his hair of choice because of its length and action in the water. But he says, "you still can’t beat bucktail for a deceiver". This year he’s trying his hand on tying gulf coast and southern water fly patterns and may soon add those to his selection here.
